Rotary Club Brno City

Rotary Club Brno City came into being in 2000 as the second Rotary club in Brno, having being properly registered as a civil society organisation at the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic and later admitted as a member of Rotary International. It therefore became part of Rotary District 2240 - Czech & Slovak Republics. The club sealed its foundation by the ceremonial handover of the Rotary International Charter on the 2nd of September, 2000.

At the time of its foundation, the club had 21 members registered. Its patron clubs were RC Toms River from New Jersey, USA, and RC Brno.

The club was founded by the initiative of Dr. Ing. Martina Jankovská, who would then be elected the club's first president.
